UK-wide poetry education, writer development and creative programming

For three years I managed the education team at the Poetry Society, overseeing national programmes reaching 10,000 children and young people every year. These consisted of development programmes for emerging writers, national competitions and schools projects.
These included:
- The prestigious Foyle Young Poets of the Year Award
- SLAMbassadors national youth slam
- Young Poets Network, online young writers hub
- Poetry Train teaching resource pack
- National Poetry Day Live Young Producers initiative, to develop poetry and spoken word producers
- Fundraising and managing relationships with funders and donors
- Page Fright spoken word resources featuring Banjamin Zephaniah and Hollie McNish
- Upgrading the Society's education microsites and website content at: poetrysociety.org.uk
