Cultures devise traditional stories in order to explain things they can’t understand, and to bring order to worlds they cannot control.

In these troubled times, what myths, fairytales and legends do we need to preserve for future generations? What kind of stories can help us survive the turmoil?

In this series of six podcasts some of the UK’s top poets and most exciting emerging artists rewrite traditional stories for the apocalyptic age.

Featuring the work of: Inua Ellams, Miriam Nash, Kayo Chingonyi, Rachel Long, Joelle Taylor and Jay Bernard.
